Words are complicated.
Every word we hear or read sparks images in our minds—but those images are never guaranteed to match someone else's.
To make sense of language, we form associations, connecting words to ideas, experiences, and emotions.
A word is only as powerful as the meaning we attach to it, as vivid as the images it evokes in our minds.
So, are words truly universal—or are they only as shared as the associations we create?
